 “That policy has run it’s course” The last pole shows it’s approval rating is below 51% now.

“Sound Fiscal Policy” Any policy that gets someone else to pay for more of your programs than before.

 

(Well, in electioneering times, if you think about it, their campaign promises are a bit like the old definition of  “CHIVALRY” – being  A mans inclination to defend a woman against every man but himself.)
