Special Statement

Heavy snow is occurring with a band of precipitation that is

moving onshore late this morning. The band is producing snowfall

rates of more than an inch per hour along with reduced

visibilities. In addition freezing rain and sleet has fallen in

many locations early this morning. These factors combine to create

dangerous driving conditions. Postpone traveling if at all

possible and leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in

front of you.
