Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this

morning...

* locations... interior Cumberland County Maine... including

Androscoggin... Kennebec... northern Waldo counties... and the

southern portions of Franklin and Somerset counties.

* Hazard types... a mixture of snow... freezing rain... and rain.

This will keep roads slick... especially secondary ones as

surface temperatures hover in the 30 to 32 degree range this

morning.

* Accumulations... total snow accumulation of 3 to 5

inches... along with around a trace of ice.

* Timing... this morning.

* Impacts... slippery roadways.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... around 30.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
