Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon Tuesday to 7 am
EST Wednesday...
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow... which is in effect from noon Tuesday to 7 am
EST Wednesday.
* Locations... southern Franklin... southern
Somerset... Cumberland... Androscoggin... and Kennebec counties in
Maine.
* Hazard types... snow.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches.
* Timing... light snow will begin by early afternoon Tuesday and last
through much of Tuesday night.
* Impacts... slippery roadways.
* Winds... northeast 10 to 15 mph.
* Temperatures... teens.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
