Good morning Augusta.

We remain under a winter weather advisory until midnight tonight.

Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from 7 am this morning

to midnight EST tonight...

* locations. Kennebec and interior Waldo counties in Maine.

* Hazard types. snow and sleet... with a chance of freezing rain

or freezing drizzle.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of up to 1 inch... along with

around a trace of ice.

* Timing... snow will begin between 5 and 8 am. A mixture of

precipitation will then occur starting late morning or early

afternoon. The precipitation will end this evening.

* Impacts... snow... sleet... and freezing rain or freezing drizzle

will make driving more difficult. Slow down and use caution.

* Winds... east 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... in the mid 20s to lower 30s.

This morning it is Overcast with snow, then ice pellets and snow in the afternoon. High of 36F with a windchill as low as 10F. Winds from the ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 100% with accumulations up to 1 in. possible.

Tonight it will be overcast with ice pellets and snow in the evening, then mostly cloudy. Low of 25F. Winds from the North at 5 to 10 mph shifting to the WSW after midnight. Chance of precipitation 60% with accumulations up to 2 in. possible.

The temperature Is 22ºF.

We have Southeast winds between 0.0 MPH and 2.6 MPH.
