Winter Weather Advisory

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this

morning...

locations... much of Maine and New Hampshire except the mid

coast.

Hazard types... freezing drizzle or light freezing rain with some

light snow mixed in at times.

Accumulations... up to a tenth of an inch of glaze.

Timing... freezing drizzle with light snow occasionally mixed

in will continue early this morning.

Impacts... locally slippery conditions. Even areas that are

expected to rise to a few degrees above freezing tonight may

experience continued light icing for a few hours due to recent

very cold surface temperatures... especially parking lots...

sidewalks... and secondary roads.

Temperatures... in the 20s... rising into the 30s and 40s this

morning.

*Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties.

Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use

caution while driving.
