Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 1 PM EST Tuesday.
The Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain is now in effect
until 1 PM EST Tuesday.
* Locations: western Maine except the coast and mountains.
* Hazard types: freezing rain.
* Accumulations: up to tenth of an inch of ice.
* Timing: accretions will continue through tonight into tomorrow.
* Impacts: roads will become slippery.
* Winds: northeast 10 to 15 mph.
* Temperatures: in the mid 30s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
