to 4 am EST Friday.
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect from 10 PM
this evening to 4 am EST Friday.
* Locations... interior Maine and New Hampshire.
* Hazard types... heavy snow.
* Accumulations... 12 to 16 inches of snow.
* Timing... late Wednesday evening into Thursday night.
* Impacts... heavy snow with low visibilities... poor driving
conditions and power outages are likely.
* Winds... northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.
* Visibilities... a half mile or less in snow and blowing snow.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food...
