...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN

KENNEBEC...NORTHERN KNOX AND CENTRAL WALDO COUNTIES...

At 4:07 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located

along a line extending from near China to near Liberty. Movement was

east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...

Belfast, Lincolnville, Thorndike, China, Liberty, Islesboro, Palermo,

Unity, Knox, Albion, Hope, Appleton, Brooks, Freedom, Jackson,

Morrill, Northport, Belmont, Searsmont and Montville.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
