Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon with storms

capable of becoming strong to severe. The areas with the highest

threat are from the White Mountains through the Mid-Coast of Maine

from around 3pm to 6pm.

 

Strong thunderstorms can become severe, producing large hail,

damaging winds, deadly lightning, and very heavy rainfall. If

outside recreating this afternoon keep and eye to the sky for

thunderstorms and continue to monitor the National Weather Service

or your local media outlet for updates on this developing weather

situation.
