* At 456 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mechanic

Falls, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...

Lewiston, Brunswick, Mechanic Falls, Topsham, Litchfield, Raymond,

Lisbon, Greene, Durham, Bowdoin, New Gloucester, Sabattus, Poland,

Minot and Wales.

This includes the following highways...

Interstate 295 near mile marker 30.

Interstate 95 between mile markers 70 and 96.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.

Damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning are

occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
