Southwestern Kennebec County in south central Maine...
North Central Androscoggin County in southwestern Maine...
Southeastern Franklin County in western Maine...
East Central Oxford County in western Maine...
* Until 815 PM EDT.
* At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Augusta, Waterville, Farmington, Oakland, Rumford, Jay, China,
Belgrade, Livermore Falls, and Farmingdale.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
