The National Weather Service in gray has issued a

* Flood Warning for

the Kennebec river at Augusta

* from Sunday morning until Sunday evening.

* At 11 am the stage was 10.4 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* Forecast to rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and

continue to rise to near 12.3 feet by noon tomorrow. The

river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow afternoon.

* Impact... at 12.0 feet... water begins to flood parking lot on front

street in Augusta.
