Wintry precipitation will cause areas of slick travel tonight.

A weak frontal system will move through northern New England tonight... bringing a period of precipitation to the area.

Precipitation will overspread the region from southwest to northeast

between 6 and 10 PM. While precipitation may start as rain...

cooling temperatures will cause the rain to change to snow in many

locations... with a slushy inch or two of snowfall expected where

snow occurs. It is also possible that a very brief period of sleet

or freezing rain may occur. This will result in areas of slick

travel during the overnight.

Please use extra caution when traveling this evening as

changeable Road conditions are likely.
