We received roughly 1 additional inch of snow here over the past 24 hours.

Having lived in Florida for many years I can tell you 2 things about moving back up North. First, people up here will rag on you about your southern accent until you force yourself to stop speaking “normal.” When you go back “home” though, be prepared to be ragged on for resuming “normal” speech because they think you’re mocking them.

Second, Nobody up here knows how to make decent Key Lime Pie!!

So, make the recipe below and just pretend it’s what you used to get when you went down to the keys to catch lobster.

KEY LIME PIE

1 pkg. Key lime sugar free Jell-O

¼ c boiling water

2  8 oz. Key lime low-fat, light yogurt

1 16 oz. Cool Whip

1 fat free graham cracker crust

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.   Add yogurt and cool whip.  Blend well.  Pour into graham cracker crust.  Let set one hour before serving.

If you prefer, the graham cracker crust can be eliminated and the filling served as pudding.
