* Flood Warning for

the Kennebec river at North Sidney

* from this morning until this evening.

* At 05am Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Forecast to rise above flood stage later this morning and

continue to rise to near 17.2 feet by this afternoon.

The river will fall below flood stage by late this afternoon.

* Impact... at 17.0 feet... minor lowland flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for

the Kennebec river at Augusta.

* Until Monday afternoon.

* At 02am Sunday the stage was 12.5 feet.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* The river will continue rising to near 13.0 feet by this morning.

The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.

* Impact... at 13.0 feet... water covering dock at Town Landing in

Hallowell.

* Impact... at 12.0 feet... water begins to flood parking lot on front

street in Augusta.
