Winter Storm Warning statement as of 3:59 am EST on December 29, 2015
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3 am EST Wednesday.
* hazard types... snow... mixing with sleet and freezing rain.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches... along
with around a trace of ice.

Timing... snow will continue and will be heavy at times today.
Sleet and freezing rain may mix in... especially south of
Skowhegan.

* Impacts... snow covered roads will create dangerous travel
conditions Tuesday.
* Winds... east 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* Visibilities... 1/2sm or less.
* Temperatures... 6 to 20 above.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
