Dense Fog Advisory statement as of 7:56 am EST on December 23, 2015

Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST this morning.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a dense fog

advisory which is in effect until 10 am EST this morning.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing... through early this morning.

* Impacts... low visibilities will lead to difficult traveling

 conditions. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your

 destination. Temperatures in the lower to mid 30s will lead to

 the formation of black ice in spots.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...

use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
