Special Statement

Special Statement as of 3:06 am EST on December 31, 2015

Freezing rain is moving out of the area and offshore. However light

pockets of freezing drizzle remain. Freezing drizzle will continue

through daybreak or until temperatures raise above 32 degrees.

Black ice will cause roads and bridges to be treacherous through

the morning hours. Motorists should use caution and leave plenty

of room between vehicles.
