Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 3 PM EST this

afternoon.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather

Advisory for freezing rain which is in effect until 3 PM EST this

afternoon.

* Locations... areas just inland of mid-coast Maine

* hazard types... freezing rain and drizzle

* accumulations... a few hundredths of an inch of ice.

* Timing... areas of freezing rain or drizzle developing this

morning continuing into early afternoon

* impactsuntreated roads and other surfaces will become icy.

* Temperatures rising through the 20s this morning to freezing

early this afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
