southeastern Somerset and southeastern Franklin Counties...

At 641 AM EST...An area of heavy snow showers was along a line

extending from 7 miles west of Madison to 8 miles east of Berlin...

and moving east AT 35 MPH.

Locations impacted include...

Waterville, Farmington, Fairfield, Bethel, Oakland, Rumford,

Skowhegan, Pittsfield, Thorndike, Turner, Madison, Jay, Clinton,

Belgrade, Livermore Falls, Dixfield, Canton, Andover, Norridgewock,

and Wilton.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 124 and 154.

This also includes...

Mount Blue, Mount Zircon, and Baldpate Mountain.

* Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter mile in

this area of heavy snow showers.

Travel is not advised during these heavy snow showers. Rapid

visibility reduction and potentially icy roads are likely to lead to

accidents. Consider delaying travel until the snow showers pass your
