#MEwx Dense Fog Advisory now in Effect

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST WEDNESDAY.

* WHAT...Visibility of a quarter-mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine

and northern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Not all areas will experience dense fog. However, where it occurs

it will be quite dense with visibilities changing rapidly over

short distances.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave

plenty of distance ahead of you.
