SNOW AND A WINTRY MIX EXPECTED TONIGHT AND SATURDAY.
A quick moving system will cross the area tonight into Saturday.
A burst of snowfall is expected on the leading edge of precipitation tonight followed by a transition to sleet and freezing rain from southwest to northeast across southern New
Hampshire and southernmost Maine late tonight and Saturday morning.
Some of that snow may briefly be moderate to heavy before the transition. Farther north, mostly snow is expected.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
7 PM EST SATURDAY.
* WHAT...Snow and sleet expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of 4 to 7 inches expected.
* WHERE...Androscoggin, Kennebec and Interior Waldo Counties.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 7 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and poor
visibilities.
