WINTER STORM WARNING ISSUED: 12:21 PM DEC. 17, 2020 – NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5

inches for a storm total of 8 to 12 inches with local

accumulations of 12 to 18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35

mph.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Maine.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing

snow could significantly reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
