The National Weather Service in Gray ME has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in MaineNew Hampshire.
Kennebec River At North Sidney affecting Kennebec County.
Kennebec River At Augusta affecting Kennebec County.
Kennebec River at Hallowell affecting Kennebec County.
Carrabassett River At North Anson affecting Somerset County.
Sandy River At Mercer affecting SomersetFranklin Counties.
Baker River At Rumney affecting Grafton County.
Sugar River At West Claremont affecting Sullivan County.
Heavy rain and rapid snow melt are causing rivers to rise rapidly.
Minor to moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Kennebec River...including North Sidney, Augusta,
Hallowell...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Carrabassett River...including North Anson...Minor flooding
is forecast.
For the Sandy River...including Mercer...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Baker River...including Rumney...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Sugar River...including West Claremont...Minor flooding is
forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Flood Warning for
the Kennebec River At North Sidney.
* At 11:15 AM EST Friday the stage was 9.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 21.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding
