PATCHY BLACK ICE EARLY THIS MORNING.

Calm winds, high humidity, subfreezing temperatures, and partial

clearing will likely lead to patchy black ice on area roadways

during the morning commute today. Motorists and pedestrians are

advised that slick spots will oftentimes go unnoticed until it's

too late. Therefore, extra caution is advised while driving. The

threat for icy spots will be greatly reduced after 8 am.
