Today it’s going to be snowy with more snow and some sleet likely this afternoon. Snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Highs around 30°F. Light and variable winds.

Tonight we’ll have sleet and a chance for freezing rain this evening, then sleet with freezing rain likely after midnight. Little or no additional sleet accumulation, ice accumulation of up to a tenth of an inch. Lows will be in the upper 20s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Our outdoor temperature is 19.6°F, the humidity is 82%, the Dew Point is 14.9°F and our wind chill is 14.7°F.

The wind direction is Northeast between 2.5 MPH and 4.9 MPH.  

The Relative pressure is 29.92, the Absolute pressure is 29.72 and falling with a weather graphic indicating snow/rain.

Visibility is 2.5 Miles with overcast and blowing snow.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is 6:51 A.M. EST, Sunset is 4:55 P.M. EST.

We received roughly an inch of snow/sleet here so far.

SUMMER CHICKEN KABOBS

4 servings/serving size:  3 oz chicken

¼ cup lime juice

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp minced parsley

½ tsp dried thyme

1 garlic clove, minced

fresh ground pepper

2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

1 small yellow squash, cut into 2-inch pieces

1 small zucchini, cut into 1-inch pieces

4 large cherry tomatoes

In a shallow dish, combine lime juice, oil, parsley, thyme, garlic, and pepper; mix well.  Add chicken, yellow squash, and zucchini, tossing to coat.  Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.  Alternate chicken, squash, and zucchini onto each skewers.  Grill 4 inches from heat for 10 minutes, turning frequently.  Add cherry tomatoes to each skewer during the last 1 minute of cooking.   Remove from heat and serve.
