Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday evening...
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Storm Watch... which is in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday evening.
* Hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of around 6 inches... along
with around a tenth of an inch of ice.
* Timing... precipitation will begin Monday night and continue into
Tuesday.
* Impacts... significant amounts of wintry precipitation may lead
to slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions.
* Winds... northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* Temperatures... in the upper 20s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Storm Warning means winds of 48 to 63 knots are imminent or
occuring. Recreational boaters should remain in port... or take
shelter until winds and waves subside. Commercial vessels should
prepare for very strong winds and dangerous sea conditions... and
consider remaining in port or taking shelter in port until winds
and waves subside.
