Statement as of 3:31 PM EST on November 13, 2014

Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11 PM this evening to

8 am EST Friday.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather

Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to

8 am EST Friday.

* Hazard types... snow

* accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.

* Timing... precipitation will likely begin as rain or a rain snow

mix this evening. Any rain will changeover to snow after

midnight. Near dawn snow may briefly become heavier... before

tapering off by mid morning.

* Impacts... snow is expected to be falling around the time of

morning commute. Travel may become difficult on snow covered

roads and in poor visibilities.

* Temperatures... in the low to mid 30s.

* Visibilities... one half mile or less at times after midnight.

 

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow

will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow

covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
