... Near blizzard conditions will continue in areas north and east

of Portland through the mid afternoon hours...

Snow... heavy at times... will continue along the midcoast and

points north through 3 PM. Visibilities will occasionally drop

to a quarter mile... making for treacherous driving conditions and

near whiteout conditions at times. Snowfall rates will be an inch

per hour with some blowing and drifting snow.

Be prepared for power outages in this region. The heavy wet snow

is already causing tree limbs and power lines to sag in this

region.
