Winter Storm   Warning 
Statement as   of 4:03 PM EDT on November 1, 2014
Winter Storm   Warning in effect from 8 PM EDT this evening to
4 PM EST   Sunday. 
The National   Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Storm
Warning for   snow which is in effect from 8 PM EDT this evening
to 4 PM EST   Sunday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
* Hazard   types... wet snow.
*   Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches along 
with around a   trace of ice.
* Timing...   snow will continue in the mountains and begin to
accumulate   tonight for the foothills and capital region.
Snowfall will   end late Sunday.
* Impacts...   drivers may need to go slow and use caution. In 
addition...   wet snow will stick to trees and power lines. 
Downed limbs   may lead to scattered power outages.
* Winds...   north 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph Sunday
afternoon.
*   Visibilities... one half mile or less at times.
*   Temperatures... in the lower 30s.
Precautionary/preparedness actions... 
A Winter   Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions   are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast   that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If   you must travel keep an extra flashlight
food and   water in your vehicle in case of an   emergency.
