Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday evening through Sunday evening...

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Storm Watch... which is in effect from Saturday evening through Sunday evening.

* Locations... southern New Hampshire... and southwestern Maine to

the midcoast.

* Hazard types... heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches.

* Timing... Saturday evening into Sunday evening.

* Impacts... heavy snow will make travel hazardous starting

Saturday evening. A heavy... wet snow may make for falling limbs

and scattered power outages... especially nearer to the coast.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph along the

coast.

* Temperatures... around 30.

* Visibilities... one half mile or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant

snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
