#MEwx warm, a bit more muggy and Chocolate Peanut Butter Crispy Bars

This morning we have partly sunny skies with a chance of showers this afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s with light and variable winds.

Tonight we'll have mostly cloudy conditions with a chance of showers during evening hours, turning partly cloudy after midnight. Lows in the upper 40s with light and variable winds.

We didn't receive any rain  here over the past 24 hours.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER KRISPY BARS

1 cup sugar

1 cup white Karo syrup

1 cup peanut butter

6 cups Rice Krispies

Chocolate chips, butterscotch chips

  1.  
  2. Bring sugar and Karo to a boil.  Remove from heat.
  3. Add peanut butter, mix well, then add Rice Krispies.
  4. Grease 9"x13" pan.
  5. Turn mixture into prepared pan, and pat down to make an even layer.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips (at least 12 oz., more is okay!).
  7. Spread onto Krispie mixture.
  8. When set, cut into squares.
