#MEwx cooler, some clouds and Black Forest Parfait

This morning we have partly sunny skies with highs in the lower 60s. Northwest winds are 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph.

Tonight it will be mostly clear with lows in the lower 40s. Winds will be northwest around 10 mph gusting to 20 mph during evening hours, becoming light and variable.

Moonrise is 3:17 pm 93° East, Moonset is 2:44 am↑ 271° West and we'll have 15 hours 19 minutes of daylight today.  

We didn't receive any rain here over the past 24 hours, it's getting pretty dry out there.

Black Forest Parfait

 

one can cherry pie filling

1/4 cup black cherry preserves

1/4 cup sugar

1 tblsp lemon juice

3 oz 1/3-less-fat cream cheese

3.4 cup chocolate wafer crumbs

Combine pie filling and preserves, mixing until thoroughly blended.

Combine sugar, juice, and cheese in large mixing bowl, and beat at medium

speed until smooth.

Cover and chill.

Spoon 2 tsp. crumbs into each of 4 glasses; top each with 1 1/2 tblsp cream

cheese mixture and 3 tblsp cherry mixture.

Repeat layers once, ending with cherry mixture.  Serve immediately.
