Today it’s going to be cloudy and snow with a chance of rain this afternoon. Snow accumulation around an inch. Highs in the mid 30s. Light and variable winds. 

Tonight we’ll have snow and sleet during evening hours, then freezing rain likely after midnight. Snow and sleet accumulation around an inch. Ice accumulation of up to a tenth

of an inch. Lows in the mid 20s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Our outdoor temperature is 37.9°F, the humidity is 64% and the Dew Point is 26.8°F.

The wind direction is East Northeast between 2.7 MPH and 4.9 MPH with a wind chill of 37.9°F.  

The Relative pressure is 30.07, the Absolute pressure is 29.87 and falling with a weather graphic indicating rain/snow.

Visibility is 10.0 Miles / 16.1 Kilometers with overcast skies to 5,500 ft / 1,676 m.

BOUILLABAISE

Serves 12 to 15

2 large onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 tbsp flour

2 tbsp butter

2 cups tomato pulp

2 cups water

8 cloves

3 bay leaves

1 ½ tsp curry powder

½ cup sherry

dash of tabasco sauce

1 tsp salt

4 lbs fish fillets (red snapper and redfish)

1 ½ quarts boiling water

½ lb mushrooms, sliced hot buttered toast

Sauté onions, garlic, and flour in butter; add tomato, 2 cups water, 4 cloves, bay leaves, curry powder, ¼ cup sherry and tabasco; simmer 30 minutes; add salt.  Add fish and remaining cloves and sherry to boiling water; simmer 15 minutes.  Add mushrooms and sauce; simmer 5 minutes. Place toast on large platter, add fish, and pour sauce over fish.
