Winter Storm Warning statement as of 5:27 PM EST on February 7, 2018

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3 am EST Thursday.

* what... heavy snow occurring. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute. Additional snow accumulations of 8 to 11 inches are expected.

* Where... portions of, south central, southwest, west central and western Maine.

* When... until 3 am EST Thursday.

* Additional details... snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will keep roads snow covered. Low visibility in heavy snow is also expected.
