Dense fog advisory in effect until 7 am EST Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 7 am EST Wednesday.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing... patchy dense fog will become more widespread through this evening... and continue overnight before thinning Wednesday morning.

* Impacts... difficult travel. Allow extra time to reach your destination if traveling.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...

use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
