Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 11 am this morning to 3 am EST Thursday.
* what... heavy snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are expected.
* Where... portions of, south central, southwest, west central and western Maine.
* When... from 11 am this morning to 3 am EST Thursday.
* Additional details... the heaviest snowfall is expected this afternoon and early evening when rates will approach 2 inches per hour. The afternoon and evening commute will be very
difficult with low visibilities and snow covered roads expected.
