Wind Advisory Statement now in Effect

Wind Advisory statement as of 3:25 PM EST on November 9, 2017

Wind Advisory in effect from 4 am to 8 PM EST Friday.

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Wind Advisory,

which is in effect from 4 am to 8 PM EST Friday.

* Winds... west 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Timing... early Friday morning through early Friday evening.

* Impacts... downed trees and branches as well as scattered power

outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph... or

wind gusts 46 to 57 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can make

driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use

extra caution.
