FATHER   JOHN'S DIABETIC COOKIES
1   ¼ cup shortening
½   cup sugar
3   eggs
1   tbsp vanilla
1½   tbsp sugar substitute or the equivalent of ¾ cup sugar
2¾   cup flour
1   heaping tsp baking powder
½   tsp salt
¾   cup milk
½   cup raisins
1/3   cup chocolate-mint morsels
Mix   together; drop onto cookie sheet and bake for 10 min. in 410F-425F oven.
