Spicy berry cider

Ingredients

4 cups apple cider or apple juice

1 18 ounce can unsweetened pineapple juice

2 cups fresh raspberries or 2 cups frozen slightly sweeten raspberries

1 teaspoon whole applespice

1 teaspoon whole cloves

one whole nutmeg

4 packets equal, or 1 and ¼ teaspoon equal

Directions:

In a lard saucepan combine apple cider or juice, pineapple juice berries and spices; slowly bring mixture to boiling.  Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes.  Remove from heat; strain to remove seeds.  Stir in equal serve in mugs.  Garnish each serving with a cinnamon stick if desired.  Makes 7 to 8ouncesor servings.
