WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT...

*WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest and western Maine.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to midnight EST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Hourly snowfall rates could approach one inch per hour at times. Rain may also mix in at times along the immediate coast and for the islands.
