ELEVATED FIRE DANGER FOR PORTIONS OF MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE TODAY.

There will be an elevated potential for fire spread across New

Hampshire and western Maine during the afternoon hours today. Low

relative humidity values and gusty northerly winds may lead to

conditions favorable for rapid fire spread, where surface cover

such as fine grasses, leaves, and other brush are dry.
