We received a dusting of snow here over the past 24 hours, but not enough to be measured.

Here is some folk lore for snowstorms that I confess I never knew. Hey, don’t we have some snow headed our way soon?

the snow day ritual is this: On the night before a potential snowstorm, if you wear your PJs on inside out and put a spoon under your pillow, you will have a day off from school the next day.  

Also, you should flush one ice cube down the toilet for every inch of snow that you want to fall.
