GARLIC PARMESAN BREAD STICKS

Serves:  12

¼ lb. Butter or margarine (1 stick)

1 pkg. skinny breadsticks

1 cup parmesan cheese

garlic salt or a couple of cloves of garlic and garlic press

 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  • Melt butter and garlic together. 
  • Lay breadsticks on baking sheet or foil.  Pour over ¼ lb. Butter with garlic and roll to coat.  Then roll in 1 cup parmesan cheese, coating each stick well.
  • Line another cookie sheet with foil, shiny side up, and arrange breadsticks in a row, not touching.
  • Bake 10 minutes @ 350 degree oven.  Watch carefully.  Serve at room temperature as a bread.  May be made ahead and may be frozen.
