Wind Advisory Statement as of 6:54 am EST on February 9, 2019

Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM EST this evening.

* winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... strong wind gusts will continue through the day today before diminishing during the mid to late afternoon.

* Impacts... light outdoor objects may be thrown and downed tree branches are possible. Scattered power outages may occur.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph... or

wind gusts 46 to 57 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can

make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.

Use extra caution.
