We're under a winter weather advisory this morning, it's in the post previous to this one.

This morning we have cloudy skies with areas of fog and patchy freezing drizzle, then patchy drizzle this afternoon. Ice accumulation around a trace. Highs in the mid 30s. Light and variable winds.

Tonight we'll have a chance of rain, drizzle and freezing rain in the evening, then rain, freezing rain with a chance of sleet after midnight. Areas of fog. Little or no

sleet accumulation. Ice accumulation of up to a tenth of an inch. Near steady temperature in the lower 30s. Light and variable winds.

BROWNIE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

Sift together:

1 cup flour

¾ cup sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

1 ½ tsp. cocoa

½ tsp. salt

Directions:

Combine and put in ungreased cake tin:

½ cup walnuts

Add ½ cup milk

1 tsp. vanilla

2 Tblsp. shortening

Combine and pour over cake:

½ cup sugar

½ cup brown sugar

3 Tblsp. cocoa

1 cup hot water

Bake ½ hour at 350⁰.
