Wind, rain, thunder, lightening and French chocolate orange moose

This morning we have Rain, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm between 9am and noon, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Some storms could produce heavy rainfall. 1 to 2 inches of rain possible.   Areas of fog after 8am. High near 67°F. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. 

Tonight we’ll have Showers and possible thunderstorms amounting to a quarter of an inch to half an inch before 11pm, then a chance of showers between 11pm and 2am.  Areas of fog. Low around 60. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable  after midnight.

The wind direction is   East Southeast between 0.0 MPH and 0.1 MPH.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, Sunrise is 4:57 a.m. Sunset is 8:27 p.m., Moonrise is 8:57 p.m., Moonset is 5:23 a.m. and we have a FULL MOON being 100% illuminated.

Visibility is 5.0 miles with overcast skies to 300 Ft.

We received 0.47 inches of rain here over the past 24 hours, and there’s a lot more coming.

FRENCH CHOCOLATE ORANGE MOUSSE

Serves:  4

1 (4-serving) package sugar-free chocolate fudge pudding mix

2/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder

1 cup unsweetened orange juice

¾ cup plain fat-free yogurt

½ cup whipped topping free

1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, rinsed and drained

3 (2½-inch) chocolate graham crackers made into fine crumbs

·         In a large bowl, combine dry pudding mix, 2/3 cup dry milk powder and 1 cup orange juice.

·         Mix well using a wire whisk.  Blend in ¾ cup yogurt and ½ cup whipped topping.

·         Reserve 4 mandarin oranges for garnish.  Gently stir remaining mandarin oranges into pudding mixture.

·         Evenly spoon mixture into 4 dissert dishes.  Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over tops and garnish each with a reserved mandarin orange.

·         Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
