Dense Fog Advisory Statement as of 3:43 am EDT on September 18, 2017

Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am EDT this

morning.

* visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing... dense fog will continue to move in from coastal areas

and remain in place through sunrise Monday morning.

* Impacts... dense fog will lead to low or rapidly changing

visibility. This will reduce reaction time on area roadways

when traveling at a high rate of speed.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...

use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
