A bit more on understanding disaster in 2017

In my effort to be informative in a “realistic way” about the bloody nose Harvey gave Texans over the past week or so I think the following will spawn some more thought. ,

I post this as an attempt to put historic storms, documented “unheeded warnings” and how the media views itself (among other issues) regarding storms and natural disasters.

This piece can help you put things into true perspective.  I highly recommend this piece, and, before you listen to it, please put your preconceived notions about hurricanes and disasters “on hold.”  It might help you see things in a slightly different way.
